MTA MARYLAND: BALTIMORELINK

APPLYING DESIGN PRINCIPLES TO BUS STOP SIGNS

As part of the JHU-MICA chapter of Design for America, I led a team of designers in identifying critical points in the customer experience on the MTA Maryland bus system. We presented to and attended meetings of MTA Maryland's BaltimoreLink Signage Subcommittee. In 2015, our strategic recommendations on how design research, information design principles and user experience informed the eventual rollout of BaltimoreLink.
